Renting A Dumpster

It can be a real problem to have extra trash or garbage and not have the space to put it. Whether you just moved in and are looking for a place to throw away boxes, are remodeling your house and have debris, or just had a great party, it is important to get rid of the trash. One of the very best ways to be rid of the trash is to rent a dumpster and have the garbage company take it off of your hands. Renting a dumpster is very simple, but there are a few different things that you can do to ensure an easy and worry-free dumpster rental:

Fees

One of the most important things that you can do is talk to multiple dumpster rental companies. The first thing that you want to do is get a pen and paper to write down what they say. When you ask about a dumpster rental you want to know how long you can have the dumpster, and you want to know how much it will cost. Be sure that you get all of the details in regard to the fees. You do not want to be hit with a hidden fee. So, ask if the fee includes everything such as; the landfill entrance fee, fuel fees, driver's fee, and dumpster fee. A reputable company will be very straightforward and honest with fees. Once you have the quotes from the different companies you will be able to compare and make an educated choice.

Prepare Your Property

Do not make the mistake of simply getting a roll off dumpster rental and not preparing. Depending on the size of the dumpster you could need to clear significant space. Be sure that the truck driver dropping off the dumpster has an easy and clear path to the location the dumpster will be dropped. It is also wise to put down plywood where you want the dumpster. Whether your dumpster will be resting on concrete or in the dirt, plywood will protect the driveway, and ensure the dumpster does not sink in the dirt. You also want to get the exact measurements of the dumpster so you do not find you do not have enough room for the dumpster. It can be a real problem to rent a dumpster that is too large and then find that it blocks your driveway. Measure and be sure you are renting the proper size.
